A simple but very efficient device that monitors the onboard (battery) voltage continuously: As long as this is around 13.6 V (± 0.8 V), the charging system is very probably working properly. This little device monitors the onboard (battery) voltage continuously and uses 3 LEDs to signal the voltage levels, with appropriate overlap between the 3 LEDs: the red LED signals a voltage that is too low to charge the battery (usually a sign for alternator failure - frequent on BMW airheads), the yellow LED indicates overvoltage (usually due to a defective voltage regulator - frequent on Honda Africa Twin) and the green LED means that all is well. Intermediate states are indicated by overlapping colors, e.g. red+green means that the voltage is near the low end of the "good" range. As an additional feature, rapid blinking signals extreme conditions — see the videos above (12 V and 24 V versions shown).
These units are available in 12 V and 24 V versions and come, of course, with detailed installation instructions. All units are tested individually and the exact display voltages are documented and delivered with every single unit.

A red LED is used to signal a voltage that is too low to charge the battery (usually a sign for alternator failure - frequent on BMW airheads), and a yellow LED indicates overvoltage (usually due to a defective voltage regulator - frequent on Honda Africa Twin). The devices come with detailed installation instructions. All units are, of course, tested individually, and the exact display voltages are recorded and delivered with every single unit.

The company Acewell markets "Digital Speedometer Cables" such as the ACE-TA7 and ACE-S11. These can be used instead of the original speedometer cable, but it would appear that these units are compatible only with Acewell's own instruments. To enable the use of these sensor units with other types and brands of speedometers, we have developed the level shifter PS-A which works seamlessly with most of the popular brands of electronic speedometers such as Motogadget, MMB, SIXO, KOSO, Touratech, T+T and Daytona.

We have developed these three LED inserts as a plug and play replacement for the original taillights of all BMW airheads since the /5 series. The original reflector is simply replaced with this PCB which offers the same functions: taillight, brake light, license plate light (warm white). Excellent visibility also from the sides, since the red LED used here have a wide viewing angle of 85°. For a detailed description and more pictures, see the corresponding page on this site.

When you engage the electric starter on your vehicle, the sudden current draw caused by the starter motor will cause the battery voltage to drop briefly. This can cause the uncontrolled reset of a GPS receiver and of similar other devices (such as computers). Our buffer circuits shown here prevent these undesired reset events.
The GPS-BUF circuit works at least with all Garmin GPS of the "60" and "76" series and will also work with all GPSr that have similar electrical data such as the GPS 72. As an example, a customer with a Honda Africa Twin used it successfully with a Garmin GPS12; the circuit was simply installed in the line between the original plug (containing a voltage reducer/regulator) and the GPS receiver. – Dimensions: diameter ca. 20.5 mm, length ca. 60 mm.
The RPI-BUF has twice the buffer capacity of the GPS-BUF. It is intended e.g. for use with embedded computers such as the Raspberry Pi (... or on engines with known starting problems ;-). – Dimensions: diameter ca. 20.5 mm, max. width 24 mm, length ca. 90 mm.
Both devices come with detailed instructions. Operating limits: max. 25 V, 0.7 A, 60 °C.

Please note that all prices indcated here refer to the repair and maintenance of parts that are in their original condition. If the units have been modified – this includes damaged wires, O-Rings that have been replaced by liquid sealant and previous "repairs" – we will probably have to bill the additional time that we will spend on your unit. Yet ... it will always be much less than the price of a new unit from Honda ;-)
Note: We perform revision and repair as a professional service, and we always need to have your tripmaster or fuel pump in our workshop. We do not sell individual spare parts, so please do not ask us for "remote" diagnostics, repair instructions or spare parts. Thank you for your understanding!

This is a list of used parts and equipment that we no longer use. Unless otherwise noted, everything is in perfect working order. However, we sell these without any warranty and a return is excluded.

Note: all orders are subject to product availability and require confirmation from our side. The sales contract is considered valid when we send our e-mail confirmation.
Shipping costs are aligned to those of the Swiss postal services and include packaging and handling. As a guideline, expect the following costs for shipping of 1...2 parts:

Outside of Switzerland, parts usually ship via tracked and insured mail FCA (according to Incoterms 2020) St-George VD, unless explicitly noted otherwise. Please note that this insurance covers only damage or loss up to 50 CHF. If you need coverage up to 150 CHF, we can ship as registered mail (+2.50 CHF). If you need better coverage (up to 500 CHF), we can ship as international parcel but shipping and handling cost will be at least 50 CHF (... and no, we have no revenue from that).
Once the items are shipping, we will send you a confirmation mail with the tracking number of the Swiss Postal Service. Delivery times will depend mostly on your local customs office and postal service. As an example: for shipments from Switzerland to Germany, we have seen anything between 2 days and ... 4 weeks!
Depending on the value of the goods and your country of residence, it may be possible that you have to pay taxes and/or import/customs fees. These fees are at your charge; we have no influence on that and we certainly do not gain anything here.
Upon receipt, please verify immediately if the item is in good state and fully operational. If something is damaged, you must have your local post office (or whoever delivered the mail) establish an official protocol ("Schadensprotokoll"): Without this protocol, we are not able to replace a damaged part free of charge (after all, this is why we're using "registered and insured mail").
Payment is usually due in advance, but at latest when the items are shipping. You will receive the necessary details with the confirmation of your order. — All goods remain the property of SchweizerSchrauber LLC until payment for all deliveries has been received in full.
Please note that PayPal charges considerable fees to the seller (starting at 4%) and that you will have to pay these fees: Contact us before transferring any amount via PayPal, so that we can figure out the least expensive way.
All parts and services on this page are offered and sold under Swiss law, which usually refers to the Code des Obligations. Unless specified otherwise, you have a 2-year warranty for parts and related services that you buy from us. Shipping costs are always at your charge. &emdash; Note that we specifically exclude any further warranty, responsibility or coverage: If you use a part in your spaceship and the device blows up on the way to Mars, we will replace the defective part - and only that part.
If you have any questions or should you experience any trouble with my parts, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We are selling high-quality items and you have paid money for these parts, so it's quite natural that you can expect them to work as designed.
If you want to suggest improvements, please drop us an e-mail. we have developed and tested most of these items in-house, but it is your feedback "from the field" that enables real, continuous improvement.
